Research has shown that young children grow in all areas of development when they spend significant time learning and playing in nature. This high quality outdoor gear will allow our students to participate in outdoor lessons safely in all seasons in the state of Minnesota. Many students who attend our school come from families that cannot afford appropriate outdoor gear for varying weather conditions. These items will allow us teachers to go forward with our mission to introduce a love of the outdoors and to teach stewardship of our environment to every child we teach.
