I would love to be able to give my students a tablet to use as a tool to calm down and regroup as we discuss their situations during our counseling sessions. Having the tablet available during our sessions would allow me to use the calming apps and breathing technique apps to teach my students how to redirect and refocus when they feel upset or nervous. Often I have to step in and help my teachers at very high stress moments. Having the technology piece to incorporate into my calming exercises with the students would be a wonderful addition to my classroom.
