I teach Spanish and more of the students have never taken Spanish before. It is important to track students understanding of the subject before moving on to the next topic. That is why I have focused on providing as much feedback as possible during our live sessions. While students are working on an activity, I am able to see their progress and able to provide feedback in real-time but it has been extremely difficult to type on the Ipad screen. That is why I am requesting an Apple ipad keyboard in order to provide students with as much feedback as possible during our live sessions. Having an iPad apple keyboard will make this task a lot easier and would allow all my students to get quick detailed feedback. This also results in positive content understanding and allows students to ask any questions at the moment based on the feedback given.
Most of the students are visual learners and having the necessary technology will allow students to gain more understanding and the ultimate increase in academic performance. That is why I am also requesting an Apple Pencil. Most students prefer to see content broken down. Having an apple pencil will allow me to use a whiteboard and will allow me to explain step-by-step grammar concepts that are difficult to understand with a PowerPoint. For example, when verbs are introduced, students prefer to see how the verb changes. They understand better why watching someone write it on the board. By donating to my project you will allow students to have the best lessons delivered online just like if they were delivered in the classroom.
