The students are all currently learning about 鈥淔orm鈥, as one of the Elements of Art. This 3-dimensional project will allow them to combine wire with some of the ceramics knowledge they have already gained to create a DIFFERENT, 3-dimensional, multi-media piece. Some of the students鈥 projects may expand into the realm of mobiles (suspended, moving pieces) and/ or stabiles (floor or pedestal mounted displays). Resource students will be able to be engaged in this 鈥渉ands-on鈥 activity in a new direction, using new tools they haven鈥檛 yet used. The project will impact grade levels 6 through 12th, as I teach middle and high school art.
