My students have an opportunity to learn about cells and body systems for the first time. I truly feel like seeing science through a microscopic lens will afford even my most reluctant learners the opportunity to dive head first into the world of science. Teaching about cells is incredibly different when they can view them through a microscope. These tools also allow me to model scientific thinking and observation skills in a way that is unique from anything else we will do all year. Microscopes open up a whole new world!
