These flexible seating options will be used upon our return to school. Children, especially in Kindergarten, need to move throughout the day. Flexible seating allows them to bounce, wobble, stand, or rock which increases oxygen and blood flow to the brain keeping them alert and focused. Flexible seating also creates an environment where students take control of their learning.
Their choice allows for greater engagement, attention, participation, and collaboration.
When we are able to get back to school, there will be many challenges to face, but a classroom with flexible seating will help create a welcoming environment where all students are able to grow.
