The binders and dividers will be to encourage great organizational skills. The mechanical pencils will be used as a instrument and voice for our scholars to express themselves as art of communication. Every scholar’s compositional book that is placed in the classroom is used to journal and process their thoughts about their journey through their many fictional and non-fictional stories, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these resources have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few weeks of school navigate through through virtual learning and they have been champions.
Please give these future Presidents, teachers, lawyers and perhaps doctors, a leg up. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
