Hello!
My name is Bridgette Rodgers, and I am a special education in Kingstree, South Carolina. I currently teach in a self-contained setting where I have students in grades three through six. My student have a varying array of disabilities, and they all have IEPs in order to help with their educational deficits in effort to close their educational gaps. Although this is a self-contained classroom setting, my students do attend core subjects such as social studies and science, as well as related arts electives in order to have as much inclusion as possible. I am abundantly blessed with students whom, everywhere they go, are complimented, and are always told they are the most well-behaved class in the school. I love seeing their academic growth, and the pride they have in themselves when they succeed! They deserve so much, and I try to the best I can to show them how much they are in a safe space and appreciated.
