Due to critical learning needs, several of my students have been allowed to come into the building for instruction. The iPad will be useful in literacy instruction. The students can interact with the text by touching new or unfamiliar vocabulary; they can also use the iPad to connect with other digital programs used in my classroom. The iPad can access software with a read-aloud feature. Students will be able to store digital books and learning software which can be used in guided instruction as well as independent practice. Finally, the students can play all types of fun and engaging learning games that offer the type of rigor necessary to increase literacy!

About my class
