I strive to give my students the very best examples that they can apply to the topic we are studying in science class. The more hands-on projects I have the more the students get into the learning and I hear them talking about how awesome science is. I want them to develop a passion for science and take what they have learned and build a steadier foundation for their future.
With hands-on equipment, my students will be able to apply the concept to real-world experiences. This will allow them to retain the information and help them succeed as they walk their educational road of success. Making connections in science deepens their ability to store the information in their long-term memory which in return will allow them to recall the concept.
The life-size human skeleton will be used to show my students the human bones and the rockets will be used to allow them to apply physical science to the building and shooting off the rockets using Newton's Laws.
