Scholastic News is available in both digital and print copies for my students who are learning from home and part-time in person. It will be a great tool to read, engage and discuss. I need something that is both accessible from either school or home. Most of my students do not have any nonfiction literature to capture their excitement. The state standards require that 70% of their daily literature be nonfiction. In this new world of hybrid learning, they are not able to go the library. This will build nonfiction-reading skills, and increase content-area knowledge.
