The kids waiting for these materials are ready to put them to use. The theatre kids are eager to be able to do a show this year. In order to accommodate the number of kids that want to be involved with COVID restrictions we have to do two smaller shows. The students in our school productions learn public speaking skills, self confidence, how to build each other up and offer support and how to accept constructive criticism. They work on memorization skills and develop awareness of themselves and their body in relation to others.
Theatre kids shine when they are part of a production. We are working on doing outside shows and have moved it to late spring to accommodate the changes. I can't wait to see how they adapt to these changes and thrive.
