While our students are currently in distance learning, they will be learning about sustainability by studying the water cycle and how humans impact the cycle. In the research component, students will help design a produce washing station for the school farm.
Once students return to in-person instruction, they build a produce washing station featuring water filtration and rain water capture capabilities.
The requested items will be used to equip the produce washing station. Hoses will be used to provide work areas for multiple students and various containers will be used to hold produce. Student will learn proper cleaning techniques and processing methods for fresh produce.
