The use of Chromebooks is a daily activity in my classroom and for my virtual students. Most of the platforms my students use on the Chromebooks involve listening to a lesson, a story, etc. Many of my students do not have headphones, cannot afford headphones or have the inexpensive ear buds that have already broke. With the restrictions of Covid, the sharing of headphones is not allowed. Needless to say, with 20+ students on the Chromebooks without headphones, listening to various lessons, can become quite loud and distracting. With every student having their own set of headphones, they can focus and concentrate on the lesson without distractions.
