These materials will make a difference in my students’ learning due to limited resources available for my use with working at home. Due to E-Learning and limited funds as a teacher, I can't bring the level of creativity and engagement that I would normally bring with resources available at my school.
However, throughout the use of Flocabulary I can help re-engage my ESOL/ESE students with the different concepts being rapped and sung to them instead of just introducing it to them through a graphic organizer. The ability to present a variety of documents: such as foldables, graphic organizers, academic notebooks through the use of an HD Document Camera will help to chunk the directions/activities/ strategies/ and track the students’ learning. My ESOL/ESE students feel as if they are falling behind due to trying to keep up with the pace of the class. As a result, this can be very difficult with being a part of a mainstream classroom. However, the impact from the pandemic has added even more stress to all stakeholders throughout the learning process. So the ability to present documents necessary to teach the curriculum will help relieve some of the stress that has been caused due to the pandemic.
