5th grade math is hard! My students seem to truly struggle with the conceptual understanding of the 5th grade math standards. With being virtual for so long, I'd love to be able to have enough manipulatives for students to working in small groups(or right now by themselves) during math time. I've taken some math classes this school year and have learned that if the students don't have the conceptual understanding of the concept down, it is very hard to transfer to the procedural fluency of solving the math problems on paper.
