Headphones are incredibly important in this age of technology! Students have virtual groups with other teachers, but must stay in their main classroom to abide by safety procedures. While a teacher is teaching the whole class, it can be quite distracting for both the student in a small group and the teacher, if students aren't able to tune into their small group with headphones.
Since we are running low on materials, students are only able to use headphones if they are able to provide them from home. This does not feel fair or equitable to ensure every child succeeds. With the recent moves to and from school with the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of materials have been lost or broken during transitions!
