With the iPad device and a language system app, such as LAMP: Words For Life, I will be able to model language during our sessions, while reading a story, answering questions, or providing support during teacher lessons. With the iPad, my students will be able to voice their wants, needs, and ideas. Most of my students love technology, and although a communication board is a good start to help them communicate, they will be more engaged with an iPad and will have access to a more robust vocabulary. With the Osmo base, I will be able to mirror my iPad image and provide support to my virtual students, and model language for them as well.
