By donating a doll house to our preschoolers, this will support the development of important oral language skills. Our little learners can play with the people and act out familiar scenarios which will increase their skills with building relationships and conflict resolution. Reenacting scenarios gets their point across and makes them feel heard and understood. Pretend play boosts problem solving and self regulation skills. We have many students who talk about playing with dolls/barbies and I truly believe this will increase their love of pretend play during work time. Thank you!
