Since these students understand very little or no English, the electronic translators will help them be able to understand the classroom lectures and the instructions that teachers give. The devices are small earbuds so that the students won't feel embarrassed or feel like they are being singled out in the classroom.
They will translate in real time into the student's own language so that the students will be able to complete assignments and improve their grades.
The translators will be kept at school because of their cost so that other students can use them in the future.
