Last year, as many of you already know, the school year very looked different than any other year. We started the year completely virtual, and then in October, some children came back to brick and mortar schools. However, because we were in the middle of a pandemic, many students chose to stay home. We continued to teach both in class and virtually. For this reason, Kindergarten looked very different with much of the furniture removed and the children staying at their desk in order to keep the virus away.
This year, we are hoping to get back to "normal." There will be no virtual learning. The children will once again sit at tables, play at centers, and gather on the carpet for story time and learning. We are in desperate need of a new carpet in order to create a healthy and inviting atmosphere for the children.
