This project will allow my students to work and spruce up our school while at the same time getting to leave a lasting mark. We have several outdoor classrooms with gravel pits next to the walkway. This project will give us the supplies to bring color to this area and to show off student creativity. The watercolor paper and paint are both basics that will be used in with students in the classroom. The spray paint will allow our students to design and paint the metal poles that support our covered walkway. Due to lead paint risk, this is our only option. The acrylic paint and markers will be used in the art classroom as well as with students in painting large stones and pavers to add a lasting mark.
