Sometimes students struggle to focus for extended (and even short) periods of learning time. A fidget band is an important tool for a student who needs to move his or her legs. It attaches to the front legs of the chair or desk for the student to gently bounce his or her feet during class.
Research shows movement is crucial for learning and increases achievement. Often we give only a few students fidget bands, mostly because of cost. If all students had this tool, it would benefit more of them.
