These books will continue to create a school library that includes a wide range of books to appeal to all ages ages and readers! I strive to create a library collection that includes books that will appeal to many readers and staff members. I look for newer publications to keep our collection relevant to our students and world today. All of these books have been chosen with students and staff in mind, and how they can be utilized for individual reading by students or by whole class reading by teachers. Our students are able to take home the books they check out from the library, so they will be able to share these books with their families and spend quality time reading together.
My goal is that with this selection of new books all students will be able to find something that appeals to them, that they are excited to read, and something that will help them become a life-long reader. I look forward to seeing the excitement on their faces, and the joy they show when they tell me about how much they love these books. I read as many books as possible so that I can recommend books to my students and so when they need a suggestion I can find a book perfect for them. Seeing a student so happy to have read a certain book that they give it a kiss before they return it to the library is a wonderful feeling!
