I plan to build a comfortable reading corner for my students to sit and enjoy a book in. A lot of my students come from multiple children families and rarely get the opportunity to sit in a quiet spot and enjoy a book. This reading couch would give them that opportunity! They can also work on friendship building if they choose to bring a buddy to the center and they can enjoy a book together. Reading is a very important aspect of learning and by promoting it in the classroom in a positive way, the students can build a lifelong love for reading.
