As passionate theatre students, my students need and want to learn more about the creation of costumes. Our school does not have any fully operational sewing machines, so I am offsetting the cost of buying six high quality machines by organizing this ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ project.
Costumes are my specialty, and, with help from donors, I can help my students learn a skill that they will carry with them throughout their life. The Janome sewing machines I am purchasing are an industry standard, known for their ease of use and reliability. With a small classroom set, we can alternate between preparing to stitch, observation, and stitching (sanitizing machine between uses). I can also use these machines to help craft unique, and properly fitted clothing and costumes for our performers.
