I am a first year teacher. In Kindergarten, we have weekly themes to align with our Science and Social Studies lessons. Additionally, we teach a lot of social skills and concepts throughout the year using books. With COVID-19, we are limited to the things we are able to share across the campus and school. Books play an important role in the learning and development of my students. These books will be placed in centers and throughout my school library. The exposure to books will help my students become well-rounded scholars.
