Movement is essential for learning. In my classroom, I want my students to be able to move while they learn so they are focused on the task and not their need to get up and be active. The items in this project will help us do just that! My students will be able to use the wobble stools to enable them to move back and forth while they sit at their table. The workout balls will let them bounce while they participate in class. The lap desks will let them lounge around the room in their best learning position, so they aren't confined to one position.
I want to teach my students to advocate for their education.
By giving my students the agency to choose their best learning position, I am instilling in them the freedom to explore and examine the best way they learn and helping them create habits that will carry them through their educational career. Thank you for considering my project!
