In an effort to create an equitable learning environment that makes our science curriculum accessible to all students, I am requesting a kidney table for small group learning. This kidney table will support my co-teaching learning environment by allowing parallel teaching to take place.
Students have different learning styles in which they learn. Studies show that there are several benefits to small group teaching. One of the reasons is, it address gaps in students' knowledge. It is also allow students to discover and engage with a range of perspectives, ideas and backgrounds. It will also provide the opportunity for me to give specific and immediate feedback and support.
