This year, more than ever, it is important that students are felt, seen, and heard, especially in the classroom.
Picture books are a great way to introduce characters who look, act, and feel the same way as our students. They are also a great way to help students navigate their feelings, become better people, learn about different cultures, and have a great laugh.
Picture books do all of these things all while teaching lessons, helping students become better learners, and fostering a love of reading that can last a lifetime.
