Our students are artists. They are scientists. They believe in themselves. They need YOU to believe in them too.
Our students need better learning conditions. They still smile, and they still laugh, even when they don't eat lunch until sometimes 1 o'clock. Our room sits at a whopping 80 degrees some days. We open the windows, but then the students sitting closest to them are freezing, and have to wear their coats.
Even when they don't have markers, crayons, or colored pencils, our students are some of the most creative human beings in the world. They are always looking for new ways to decorate their space.
Serve our students, and I promise you, they will pay it forward. They are kind, they are generous, and they smile through the struggle. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know our crew.
