Students deserve to have a print-rich library to enhance all aspects of their learning progression. My students are showing a strong will to be risk takers, feeling confident in having an active voice, and demonstrating a passion to self-improve academic gaps in their learning.
With the availability of having access to dictionaries, my students will be able to increase vocabulary development, practice word analysis skills, and improve spelling accuracy. My students are eager to demonstrate their creativity in writing, apply correct word usage in context, and become confident authors of beautiful work.
Creating anchor charts, a visual aid, also allows students a free resource to refer to or reflect upon and incorporate the highlighted skills and concepts into their learning tasks. With your support, these materials will make a positive impact in striving for academic proficiency among my fourth grade students.
