As everyone knows, we are going through tough times. Our goal is to keep our children as safe as we possibly can. We have limited the entrance of parents and visitors into out facility so that we can continue to keep as many germs as we can outside. In doing this, we have lost a little bit of parent/teacher interaction.
We would life to get iPads so that we can have better communication with parents while still staying safe and healthy. We are in the process of moving into a new paperless software that we can use with our staff and families to have better communication. This new software will be contactless and will give the parents an opportunity to see how their child is doing throughout the day.
The teachers in the classrooms will be updating the parents on what how their child ate, how many diaper changes they had, and the activities that they did that day. The help of these iPads will also help check in and check out children without having to exchange pens and papers. Overall, this change is going to be very beneficial to the parents, the staff, and more importantly, the children.
