The materials I chose will help my students communicate, focus, increase engagement, provide for sensory needs, and indoor recess. I also chose curriculum resources that can be used through technology so that I can provide opportunities for distance learning. Working with special needs students is rewarding, they all have different skill-sets and learning levels. The resources that I will be getting through this project would help me differentiate instruction and meet their needs. Activating the brain through play is one of the best ways to engage students and increase language. The items on this list will provide for this need and make my students very happy.
