I am a first-year teacher that is still trying to build my classroom library. I have 18 of the sweetest second graders that LOVE to read. With the issues of COVID, it has made that a little trickier than normal. Students would usually be allowed to go to the school library daily to get new books, but now we only go once a week. I do have a limited selection of books that they can use from my classroom library, but after each student reads one, I "quarantine" it for 72 hours. This makes our selection smaller and smaller each day. I am hoping to add new series to give my students more opportunities to read some of their favorite series!
