These materials, while not directly related to their schoolwork or homework, will certainly encourage more children to visit and STAY in the book area. Right now it's not a very popular area despite the fact that several children enjoy really reading. I'm afraid that it doesn't help that the area is not very comfortable or inviting, mainly because of the seating. I think if I can make the area more attractive to students they will be more inclined to read, which they all have to do for daily homework anyway.
