Right now in my combined kindergarten and first grade classroom, I have an empty bookcase where my classroom library is supposed to go. Sure my students have access to numerous books on their iPads, but nothing compares to holding an actual book in your hand and reading it. This leveled classroom library set will allow my students to have this opportunity and help reinforce the importance of reading. With having two classes, I also have many emergent readers and higher-level readers. It's important to me that I provided each of my students with the appropriate level book or higher level book to help them be successful, challenge them, and maybe enjoy reading.
About my class
