Students became comfortable at home sitting in their own flexible seating arrangement during distance learning. This year they are stuck in a classroom with hard desks and tables. The flexible seating will be used for students who have a hard time sitting in their seats and focusing. Meeting all of their needs is crucial - They need a classroom that is inviting to enter, and the tools necessary to make them excited to learn history. I know together, as a community, we can make this happen. The flexible seating will be used for students who have a hard time sitting in their seats and focusing. Students who struggle to focus, and struggle with motivation will be provided with comfortable pillows to sit on the floor. Some students prefer the ability to stretch out, and this will provide my students with a way to do this.
