Writing the World will afford the students the opportunity to express themselves without judgement. During these trying times, my students have been away from me and unable to express themselves as freely through their writing and art. Writing the World would bring back some of their creativity. It will afford those shy scholars an opportunity to truly express themselves. Many scholars have thoughts they are often afraid to verbalize. Writing the World will help to eliminate and lessen this fear. Writing the World will also allow scholars to travel to places unseen through the mafic and stroke of a pen/pencil. Scholars will be able to create safe havens for themselves and others. Writing the World will also allow scholars to become penpals with scholars around the world. It will allow students to make connections with other scholars and express and share how they have handled distance-learning. Writing the World will also be our way of being the change and example we hope to see and become.
