My students need a lot of interpersonal dialogue, so the hand puppets and story aids will help with that. I will use them to get the students speaking with each other, which improves their proficiency and comfort in the language. They also are motivated to participate by earning classroom money that they can spend on prizes each term. The candy will be used for those prizes. At the end of each term, we have a class store where they can spend their money. I also picked out some bins for classroom organization.
