The items that I selected will be used at home during the students Occupational Therapy sessions! The scooters can be used in so many ways to get the kids moving! Lying prone or supine and using their arms and or legs to propel themselves around a room or the house to gather items is a great way to work on strength, coordination, following directions, working memory. The students can also pull someone or something on the scooter to get more sensory input throughout their day which so many of the kids need. The cones, rings, and bean bags also serve so many different purposes! Each student will get one cone, 5 rings, and 5 bean bags and they will be used for visual-motor and visual perceptual activities, and coordination.
