About 30% of my 160 students are remote learners. Many do not have art supplies beyond a pencil at home. My in-school learners are limited by our inability to safely share supplies in the classroom like we used to, due to the pandemic.
My idea and goal is to provide every student with a basic "art kit" that can be used at home or at school. My school budget is limited and putting together even the most basic kit is beyond our means. I've requested watercolor sets and some watercolor paper to form the backbone of our kits.
When every student has their own set of watercolors, I can give painting assignments to both my in-person and remote students, confident that all students will be equipped with the necessary supplies.
