STEM teaching and learning goes beyond the mere transfer of knowledge. It engages students and equips them with critical thinking, problem solving, creative and collaborative skills, and ultimately establishes connections between the school, work place, community and the global economy. K-2 students are naturally curious, and wonderful builders. Lego education is an introduction to robotics, and competitions are usually only open to students ages 9 and up. However, through the Jr. First Lego League, my students, ages 5-7 have the opportunity to participate. Help me give them tools to improve their future.
