With hard work and dedication to our students, our district was able to provide one iPad for every two students per household. This means that there are students in different grade levels sharing one device per household. This leads to several of my students having to wait to access a device, and signing in to Zoom either too late or cannot sign in at all throughout the day to receive virtual instruction.
By receiving these tablets it will help ensure that all of my students log in daily to Zoom to receive much-needed virtual instruction.
My goal is that none of my students stay behind if we can help provide the device they need. Together we can make a difference for these students, and remove a little stress from the parents. The iPads will help my bilingual students practice oral language development, enhance their writing skills, and learn new concepts. They learn best through hands-on activities, and most importantly, they feel connected to the 21st century!
