A light table can be used to enhance a preschool classroom. It is fun, engaging, and considered interactive technology for a four year old!
Kids are naturally drawn to the gentle glow of the light table and it is wonderful for encouraging playful learning. My students will be able to practice counting, sorting and patterning with new, tactile materials that they have never used before. It will also encourage them to stay on task, which is great for those budding attention spans!
The light table will also inspire those learners that are more comfortable using hands on learning materials.
