I am teaching virtually this year but am more of a paper/pencil person. I enjoy/appreciate technology, but too much screen time for our young learners is not good! I am looking for ways to get my students who are learning from home, off of the computer and realizing that there are still other ways we can learn.
I am looking to do a book study with the students at home on the book I Survived The American Revolution. To encourage independent reading, I am asking for a class set of this text. We will read this along side learning more about the American Revolution. My students will complete various activities from Teachers Pay Teachers that go along with this book.
I am also looking to create and send home Math Game bags. Dice, cards, etc. would allow students to practice math facts in a way that is fun and engaging. I will purchase game boards from Teachers Pay Teachers and send them home to encourage families to practice.
