I am teaching Kindergarten Math and Social-Emotional Learning this year, serving all types of students: students with SEN, ENL, Gifted, and "Regular"- virtually! I'm so excited to see the smiling faces early in the morning, eager to learn. Virtual teaching is not easy and it becomes even harder with used school laptops that students have been using for the past five to seven years. The computers run slow, the camera doesn't work, and sometimes even the mic. isn't reliable. This laptop will support me in facilitating live instruction, lesson planning, collaborating with colleagues who are in the building and colleagues who are not, communicating with the families of my scholars, attending staff meetings, professional development, etc.
