The supplies I am requesting will impact my students' lives on a daily basis. My students are very young and their brains are not wired to learn at home in front of a computer, yet that is what we are forced to do. Therefore, I incorporate a lot of engaging music and movement activities in my lessons to excite them and make learning fun. However, I have not found a way to make the speakers and microphone built into my district-issued computer to work well!
A grainy camera and muffled music are not good enough, my students deserve better! They can't hear the music I play clearly and loudly. In order to learn, the kids must be able to see and hear what I am trying to share with them.
In addition, I am requesting some high-quality watercolors so that students can use art as a means to express themselves and explore with their imaginations and fine motor skills. I have been using my own money to supply my sweet students with art and science materials, but these watercolor sets are expensive. I need help. With their own set of paints at home, children can pick up a brush whenever they feel like it! Thank you so much for your support, it will impact our youngest learners in a big way.
