All students should be given the chance to make their own discoveries in science. The students at Rocky Mountain School are eager to explore science and mathematics. Through this project my students will be given the opportunity to make connections with mathematics and other subject areas, engage in critical thinking and work collaboratively with the peers.
These supplies will be used to engage students in hands on actives to explore geology and other earth science topics. We will be able to test the water quality of our bay and river. Explore plate tectonic theory and classify rocks and minerals.
