These materials will help my students learn remotely and in person about their emotions, compassion, and respecting themselves and others. Currently my students are all home learning so I have been playing a lot of video readings of books for our social emotional learning time each day but even virtually nothing compares to the real book. These are books that I can read with my students when we go back in person or stay remote and for years to come.
Social Emotional Learning is more important now than ever. My students are all learning remotely with little exposure to friends since March. We are learning how to connect with our feelings while noticing and respecting the feelings of others. These books will allow them to make connections with social topics.
